Österreich: WKO warns that the housing construction recovery may be short-lived

An August update to WKO's Austrian new-build report describes a modest recovery in housing completions during 2026, followed by the prospect of another decline in 2027.

The report was commissioned by WKO's real estate industry association and prepared with Exploreal. Its outlook is a forecast for the wider market, rather than a revised delivery date for an individual project.
