Hrvatska: August permits provide for 1,402 homes

Hrvatska issued 775 building permits in August 2026, up 5.9% from August 2025, according to DZS. The authorised works provide for 1,402 homes with an average floor area of 91.8 square metres.

Of those homes, 1,306 are in new buildings; the remainder result from extensions or conversions. A permit records planned work and does not establish a completion date.
