North Macedonia: August authorisations include 1,030 planned homes

North Macedonia issued 333 building permits in August 2026, an increase of 18.9% from a year earlier. The State Statistical Office reports that 1,030 homes were planned under the authorisations, with 80,530 square metres of useful floor area.

The Skopje Region accounted for 105 permits. The overall permit count also includes civil engineering and reconstruction, so it is distinct from the number of residential projects.
