North Macedonia: August authorisations include 1,030 planned homes

North Macedonia issued 333 building permits in August 2026, an increase of 18.9% from a year earlier. The State Statistical Office reports that 1,030 homes were planned under the authorisations, with 80,530 square metres of useful floor area.

A Skopje Region accounted for 105 permits. The overall permit count also includes civil engineering and reconstruction, so it is distinct from the number of residential projects.
